It’s been a busy few weeks here at Knotice HQ. First, we released our latest holiday themed mobile email opens data. (If you haven’t seen the report yet, download it here.) And just a few days ago we announced our partnership with EMC Greenplum, a company driving the future of Big Data analytics.
This new partnership will dramatically increase the speed and performance of our Universal Profile Management system, letting our customers get more done faster. To give you some more background, the Knotice solution previously ran on a Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. It’s now going to be powered by the EMC Greenplum Database—a massively parallel processing (MPP) database built to support the next-generation of Big Data warehousing and analytics, and capable of storing and analyzing petabytes of data.
Basically what this boils down to is a solution that puts less pressure on machines and allows humans to be more efficient.
In the age of big data, Knotice can now accommodate a virtually unlimited volume of site-side and web-wide data and deliver a fast loading, highly scalable, data co-processing platform for Big Data analytics as well as have the capacity for rapid data backup and quick recovery.
