May is Marketing Month

Casey BartoMay has been dubbed "Marketing Month" by Shop.org, and Knotice was requested to contribute some expert advice for Shop.org's "May is Marketing Month" resource center.
Josh Gordon, Knotice's Director of Marketing, got in front of the camera to provide three pieces of expert advice on online retail marketing. Mobile marketing continues to be a hot topic within the industry, and a recent survey conducted by The eTailing Group revealed that retailers are increasing their use of the mobile channel to engage shoppers.

Each of Knotice’s three videos provides useful tips about how to improve a mobile marketing campaign, from launch to optimization, to measurement. Check out the first video below about how to optimize your email marketing campaign for the mobile device.

Check back on Tuesday to see Josh’s second piece of advice, and stayed tuned during May to catch the last video.

Now, you have one minute. In the comments below, what is your one minute tip for direct digital retail marketing?

Wow, one minute on mobile media tips…

I’d have to say to take a look at my post today about using an interactive billboard, together with a cell phone, to distribute a coupon… as a game… and then drive traffic into your retail establishment.

Sounds complicated… but it’s not so much. Looks fun. I want a billboard around here so I can snap a coupon photo with my cell phone camera too!

Not sure if this qualifies for your May is Mobile Marketing Month tip… but it’s my best bet right now.

Good one! Any concerns about snapping a code or texting a shortcode while driving?
